Derek - Coder
Hello, my name is Derek, and I am responsible for developing the enemy systems in Wizards and Warriors. My objective is to create a well-structured, modular enemy framework that integrates seamlessly with the rest of the game. This includes building systems that allow easy communication between enemies and other mechanics, such as the wave spawner, player combat systems, and damage handling.
I will be focusing exclusively on the programming side of enemy development. While I won’t be working on their visual models or design, I’ll ensure that the underlying code is efficient, adaptable, and easy to work with. My aim is to empower the rest of the team by creating systems that are intuitive and require minimal setup to integrate into their respective features.
Given that Wizards and Warriors is a cooperative game, it's important that our development process mirrors that same spirit of collaboration. I’ll be working closely with teammates to ensure all enemy-related features support the game’s core mechanics and feel consistent within the overall experience. Together, we'll build a system that delivers challenge, excitement, and a real sense of progression for the players.
