The Launch of the Greatest Game Ever Made... yeah, that sounds appropriate.


This is a quick little prototype I made while learning Unreal Engine and 3D Level Design. It took 3 weeks to a month to make. The best trick I learned in Level Design is to always give players goals. When you start the game, the first thing you see is a giant arrow telling you where to go. It's up to you, the player, to find out how to get there, but you have a long term goal worth playing for. I then break that long term goal into sub goals. Challenges soon become, make this jump, follow this path, and learn this mechanic while you slowly work your way towards... well, Hell.
